Prathisthapana Mahotsava Report

Venue: Basappanapalya, Bengaluru

The Prathisthapana Mahotsava of Sri Ganapathi, Sri Mukhya Prana Devaru, and Sri Raghavendra Swamigala Brindavana was solemnly and successfully conducted on Sunday, 25 January 2026, under the auspices of Sri Mukhya Prana Seva Trust (SMPST).

This sacred occasion marked a historic and spiritually significant milestone in the journey of the Trust. The entire programme was organised with profound devotion, meticulous planning, and strict adherence to Shastric traditions.

The Mahotsava was held in the divine presence and under the benign blessings of Sri Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Swamiji of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Math (SRS Math), Mantralayam, whose guidance and grace sanctified the entire ceremony.

More than 400 devotees (bhaktaru) participated in the function, filling the atmosphere with devotion, spiritual fervour, and collective prayer.

The construction of the temple is in full swing and need substantial funds to complete it. We request all devotees to liberally donate to the buidling fund which will enable us to complete the temple at the earliest.

Sree MukhyaPrana Anandavana Temple is located at Basappanaplaya, Bangalore District, Karnataka (Off Kanakapura Road, back side of Art Of Living Ashram).

Centre for Spiritual Knowledge and Vedic studies

We envisage this temple to be a centre for imparting spiritual knowledge and training for the seekers, apart from upholding tenets of Sanathana Dharma. Through various events, we aim to foster a deeper connection with our cultural roots and spiritual traditions.

Service to Society

We intend to serve society through Annadana programs, and scholarships for the needy and underprivileged members of our community. We place special emphasis on supporting poor students who are pursing careers in Pourohitya, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their pursuit of knowledge and spiritual growth.

Health Camps

We also intend to conduct medical camps in and around the temple to help the needy. Yoga and Meditation programs, Health awareness and preventive health checkups are some of our vision plans.
